Scope
This policy explains which data is processed when you use the Memuriyet mobile app and website.
Data we collect
We never ask for your name, email, phone number or location. When you first open the app, a random anonymous ID is created for you. Linked to that ID we store device details (platform, operating system and app version, device model, language and time zone), your notification token if you allowed notifications, the criteria of the alarms you set and the listings that matched them, and the status of your Premium membership (store, product and expiry date).
How we use data
Data is used only to show listings, run your alarms, send notifications, verify your Premium membership and keep the service secure. We do not show ads, sell your data or share it with anyone for advertising.
Service providers
We work with these providers to run the service: Supabase (database and server infrastructure, Frankfurt data center), Expo, Apple and Google (delivering notifications), RevenueCat, the App Store and Google Play (verifying purchases) and Vercel (website). They process data only on our behalf and only as needed for the service. Some of them are located outside Türkiye, so data may be transferred abroad.
Retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account is in use. Delete my data in Settings permanently removes your anonymous ID, alarms, matches and device records. Store purchase records are kept by Apple and Google under their own policies.
Website
The website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. It only uses the cookies and browser storage needed to remember your language and theme.
Your rights
Under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 you have rights such as learning whether your data is processed and asking for it to be corrected or deleted. To delete your data, use Delete my data in the app. For any other request, write to gokdenizcetins@gmail.com.
Children
Memuriyet is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
When we update this policy we change the date at the top of the page. We announce important changes in the app.
